Anyone Know Where the Team is Going to Practice?

Project Costs Halt Ragsdale High Project

By J. Brian Ewing News and Record

JAMESTOWN -- Renovations and remodeling of Ragsdale High are literally back at the drawing board because of unforeseen cost overruns. Bids for the renovation project came in about $5 million over the $30 million officials estimated for the project.

The school district is now in talks with the designer and construction management firm to review the plans for possible cost cutting changes. There has been no official word how long the revisions might set construction and opening back.

The school district will hold an information meeting for residents on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Ragsdale auditorium.
